Detailed description:

RIMpro is a DSS for managing pest and disease risks in fruit orchards and vineyards. It connects to a weather station (or a virtual station if none is available) to monitor conditions in real time and provides detailed, season-long risk assessments using “population models” that track pest and disease development over time. Key features: Population Models – Tracks pest and disease development throughout the season, accounting for historical conditions. Real-Time Updates – Data is refreshed every 30 minutes using the latest weather data and forecasts. User Accounts and Groups – Growers and consultants can set up accounts, with growers able to share model outputs in user groups and consultants managing multiple stations for their clients. Reduced Pesticide Use – Models indicate risk levels, allowing for precise, minimal spraying only when necessary. Some models even show fungicide depletion based on weather and plant growth.

Cost: $300 to $1,000 per year (based on the crop and features).
